Routing Types
Different types of routing, as well as their combinations, allow to calculate delivery routes by organizations with different directions, specializations, and established business processes.
-
Geo-zone routes
They are justified in large cities or large service areas. Drivers, working in certain areas, subsequently study the features of their road infrastructure, the locations of clients and the access to them - which makes their work more efficient.
Each geo-zone can be assigned to one car or a group of cars.
For geo-zones, priority values can be set in case they intersect.
-
Routes by address groups
Optimize the use of transport of different dimensions and weight characteristics depending on the type of group of delivery points. For example, for delivering large orders to supermarkets, it is more expedient to use trucks, while for servicing small stores it is better to use more maneuverable passenger vans.
In case of creating a group of VIP clients, the service sets priority of deliveries for VIPs.
-
Multi-trip routing
Used in cases where all the goods do not fit in the available vehicles, and requires several walkers.
This type of routing allows you to organize 2-3 delivery waves during the day for online store customers.
Ideal for waste removal, with intermediate unloading at reception points as the vehicles fill up.
-
CROSS-DOCKING
The system has functionality for planning intercity multi-day routes with unloading at delivery points in transit settlements.
The service also has cross-docking routing capabilities, i.e. planning of both intercity routes taking into account reloading points in transit cities, and routing for regional representatives is performed.
-
Goods Compatibility Groups
This type of routing is indispensable for the delivery of goods that require compatibility between themselves and certain types of vehicles.
It is in demand among distributors for organizing deliveries of frozen, refrigerated and general groups of goods.
It is offered to oil depots serving gas station networks when it is necessary to take into account different types of fuel, types of tanker trucks and the capacity of their sections.
ANT-Logistics implementation engineers will configure the road editor, calculation parameters, the appearance of directories and documents, analytical reporting. These works are included in the cost of the selected tariff plan.
